Haifa is known for its importance in Israel’s economy. It’s the home of the oldest high-tech parks in the country, plus it’s the heart of the country’s industry. No wonder it’s called ‘The Capital of the North’.

This gorgeous hilltop city is a favorite cruise port stop and on almost everyone’s tour itinerary when visiting the Holy Land. Haifa has amazing beaches, stunning panoramas and world class universities.  But there are many other wonderful reasons to  spend some time in Haifa, Israel.  Brit Olom Tours, Inc. in Miami would like to tell you more about this wonderful port.

Bahá’i Gardens & Golden Dome

This is the most photographed destination in Haifa and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located on Mount Carmel, these garden terraces are breathtaking, plus they offer amazing views of the city.

German Colony

Very close to the gardens you can find the German Colony, which was founded by the German Templar Society in 1868. Today it is a charming area with many cafés and restaurants.

Museums

There are also a wide variety of interesting museums, but perhaps the most famous is the Israel National Museum of Science, Technology and Space. It was founded in 1983 and you will find over 20 exhibits and 7 Cinematrix 3D movies offering an incredible educational experience.

Israel is a land filled with beauty, history and a mixture of religions.
