Tahiti

About the Island

Like we said before, Tahiti is the biggest island of the French Polynesia. It’s divided in two parts: Tahiti Nui and Tahiti Iti, where you will find waterfalls and mountains across the territory which will provide breathtaking landscapes.

The capital is Papeete, which could be translated into “water basket”. You can’t miss the market, where you will find many local products, plus you can buy at the Robert Wan Pearl Museum one of the famous tahitian black pearls.

The main attraction is exploring the pristine sea - where you will find sunken ships, coral reefs and many interesting sea species. It’s definitely a place that beginning and advanced divers will enjoy.
