Beaches in Cuba

Cuba boasts impressive beaches all around, but the most captivating beaches are the ones with minimal tourists. After checking out famous coastal regions, like Varadero, head over to Cayo Guillermo in Ciego de Ávila Province. This secluded getaway was one of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite fishing spots. The powdery white sand and gleaming waters will make you wish you didn’t have to go back home. Skip the normal beach activities like sun bathing and try something new like flamingo-watching.

Experience Havana

The famous city of Havana, Cuba is well known for its historic architecture, lively atmosphere and vintage cars. You can find all that and more in Havana. Among the must see attractions in Havana are the Capitolio Nacional, a great example of Havana’s architecture, and Plaza Catedral, where hundreds of singers and musicians play every month. Don’t forget to treat yourself to at least one mojito and dance the night away with live music in one of Havana’s world-famous nightspots like the Tropicana Night Club.

Our Histories Intertwined

Visit the Hotel National with its gorgeous gardens and famous bar.  This famous hotel once hosted the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, John Wayne, Marlon Brando and many more movie stars of the day.  Famous public figures such as Winston Churchill and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor among others have also been hotel patrons. Famous writer Ernest Hemingway made Cuba his home and fishing grounds.  You can visit his home and have a drink at his favorite bar. You can also visit the Christopher Columbus Cemetery with the lavish tombs of wealthy Cubans from before the revolution. And you can't leave Cuba before you visit a famous cigar and rum factory and maybe even sample and buy some of the world famous Cohiba cigars and Havana Club Rum.
