If you choose to drive the Golden Circle, be ready for a day spent outdoors and plenty of adventure. 

No trip to Iceland should end without a trip to watch the Northern Lights. To catch this impressive sight, book your trip anytime between September to April which is when these lights are most visible. Go up north for a better chance to see them, but if you’re lucky you may even be able to catch a glimpse of them in Reykjavik or outside the city in a rural, dark area.
