Visit Mystical Easter Island

Easter Island is a remote, tiny island nestled in the Pacific that is shrouded in wonder and mystery due to the monolithic stone heads that can be found all over. This area is home to 15 moai standing side by side with incredible ocean views behind them. While it makes for an impressive site any time of the day, watching the sunrise behind the moai is a must. Since the sun doesn’t rise early on the island, you don’t even have to struggle to get up super early in the morning. 

Anakena beach is the most popular beach to visit during a visit to Easter Island, and with good reason. The white sand beach, statuesque palm trees, and clear blue water make it the perfect lounging spot for those looking for a beach vacation. The beach is a bit small, but it’s perfect for the number of visitors this spot gets. Anakena is thought to be the site of the first settlement on the island, making it an important landmark as well.
